He was an originating and life member of Monessen Ambulance Service;and life member of Monessen Volunteer Fire Dept.No.2;and the United Methodist Church of Monessen. He was a graduate of Charleroi High School. Surviving are:children;Thomas and wife Kathleen Evans of Coal Center;Timothy R.and wife Dawn Evans of Monessen;Terrance Evans of Monessen;Tony Evans of Monessen;Mrs.Ryan (Trudy) Speck of Monessen;and nine grandchildren;Stephen;Ashley;Thomas S.Jr.;Christina;Katelyn;Jacob;Devin;Mikayla;and Marley. Precedeing him in death were his parents and a brother;Robert R.Evans. Friends will be received in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME;INC.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;a Golden Rule Funeral Home;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Thursday. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel;Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
