Thomas "Brother" Britton,97,of 563 Thompson Ave.,Donora,died Sunday,May 22,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born March 31,1897,in Montgomery,Ala. Mr. Britton had retired from LTV Steel in Homestead. He had spent the past 10 years residing in Donora,having moved from Pittsburgh. Mr. Britton is survived by two nephews,Daniel Thomas and George Ellis,both of Donora and three nieces,Francine Simms and Marie Gardner,both of Donora,and Ruth Ellis of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received in the First Baptist Church,Sixth Street and Allen Avenue,Donora. The Percy E LAw Jr.Funeral Home of Donora is in charge of the arrangements.
