Theresa Salvino Scurci of Broad Avenue Belle Vernon;died Thursday;April 17;1986;at 10 a.m. suddenly in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 78. Mrs.Scurci was born March 2;1908;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Spadafore Salvino. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two sisters;Alice Frankie and Emma Zimmaro. She was a lifelong resident of the Mon Valley community;and was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband;Anthony Scurci;three daughters;Mrs.Roy (Jean) Agostini;Mrs.Gust (Marie) Monios;and Mrs.George (Patricia) Burkett;all of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Jano ad James Salvino;both of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mrs.Edith Beneccio and Mrs.Elmer (Carrie) Palm;both of Monessen;and Mrs.Irene Baron of Belle Vernon;10 grandchildren;and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:15 a.m.Monday in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
