Theresa Tiano Oliver,a resident of the Humbert Lane Nursing Home,Washington,Pa.,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Sunday,Oct. 28,1986,at 2:45 a.m. in Washington Hospital,Washington,Pa. She was 84. Mrs. Oliver was born Nov. 27,1900,in Coalton,W.Va.,a daughter of the late Giovanni Battista Tiano and Filomena Iaquinta Tiano. Her husband,Tony C.Oliverio,died in 1941. In addition to her parents and husband,Mrs. Oliver was also preceded in death by six brothers,one sister,and three sons,Cozy,Mark and Guy Oliver. A Catholic by faith,she had been a resident of the Humbert Lane Nursing Home for the past year prior to the Belle Vernon Apartments,Belle Vernon,and before that,had been a resident of 237 Main St.,Belle Vernon,for many,many years. Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Belle Vernon American Legion Post No.659 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are two daughters,Mrs. Richard (Ida May) Krandle,Farmington, Mich.,and Mrs. Charles (Joan) Hrutkay of Scenery Hill,seven sons, Nick and Joseph Oliver,both of Belle Vernon,Thomas Oliver of Allen Park,Mich.,Dr. Paul Oliver of Needham,Mass.,John Rudolph Oliver of Bloomfield Hills,Mich.,Theodore Oliver of Grosse Ile,Mich.,and Philip Oliver of Detroit,Mich.; one sister, Pasquelina Stankovics,a resident of the Humbert Lane Nursing Home,Washington,Pa.formerly of Belle Vernon; 16 grandchildren,and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
