Theresa Marie Tretter Carrozza; 89; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Thursday; Dec; 24; 2009; at 10:35 p.m. at Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born July 1; 1920; in Monessen; she was the daughter of the late Celeste and Louise Tretter. A lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; Mrs. Carrozza was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church; Belle Vernon; a member of the Degree of Honor and was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Donald G. and Patricia Carrozza; of Charleroi and Nicholas and Musatta Carrozza; of Charleroi; two daughters and son-in-law; Dorothy J. and James Stewart; of Fallowfield Township and Geri Thompson; of North Miami Beach; Fla.; seven grandchildren; Amber; Guy; Jimbo; Autumn; Jason; Nicky Paul and Jessica; five great grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law; Alex and Mildred Tretter; of Monessen and Joseph Tretter; of Belle Vernon. She is preceded in death by her husband; Nick R. Carrozza (June 8; 2006); a daughter; Celeste Carrozza; and brother; Dominic Tretter. The family would also wish to thank her caregivers; Lola Rock and Jessica Stewart. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the LEONARD J. A prayer service will be 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home; followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church; with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary 3 p.m. Monday for the departed soul of Theresa Carrozza in the funeral home.
