Theresa Bonie;87;of 10530 Laurel St.;Livonia;a suburb of Detroit;Mich.;died Thursday;Nov.28;1972 in the Good Samaritan Hospital of Detroit. Born in Italy;she was a pioneer Monessen resident;moving to Detroit in 1944 following the death of her husband;Louis Bonie. She was a former member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church of Monessen and the Italian Ladies Mutual Aid Society;both the Schoonmaker and NIPA branches. She was preceded in death by a sister;Mrs.Rena Marchione. Surviving are four daughters;Mrs.Marie French;with whom she made her home;Mrs.Gerald (Enis) Coyle of Tempe;Ariz.;Mrs.Thomas (Genevieve) Richardson of Deerfield Beach;Fla.;and Mrs.Ray (Vivian) Klann of Livonia;Mich.;three sons;Alfred R.Bonie of Monessen;Raymond A.Bonie of Detroit and Louis Bonie of Griffith;Ind.;one sister;Mrs.Athalia Zambelli of Monessen. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Grand Blvd.;Monessen between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday;Dec.2;1972 at 1:30 p.m.in the funeral home chapel;conducted by the Rev.Gary Rischer;pastor of St.Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
