Theodore Zyglowicz; 79; of Monessen; died Wednesday; Jan. 7; 2004; in UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital; Pittsburgh. He was born Aug. 23; 1924; in Kolaczyce; Poland; a son of the late Andrzej Zyglowicz and Katazyna Pacana Zyglowicz. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1949 and lived with his aunt and uncle; the late Paul and Anna Pacana of Monessen. Mr. Zyglowicz was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and the former St. Hyacinth R.C. Church and its Holy Name Society. He also was a member of St. Casimir the Great; Lodge 1146 of the Polish National Alliance in Monessen. Mr. Zyglowicz was retired from the Lee-Norse Division of the Ingersoll Rand Mining Company of Charleroi. He is survived by his wife; Dolores Michaels Zyglowicz; whom he married on Oct. 24; 1959; in St. Sebastian R.C. Church in Belle Vernon; one son; Daniel Zyglowicz of Monessen; one daughter and son-in-law; Diane and Joseph Palli of Belle Vernon; two grandchildren; Sarah and Stephen Palli of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by two brothers; Josef and Jan Zyglowicz; and six sisters; Victoria Rak; Mary Zyglowicz. Helena Adamczyk; Jadwiga Pytel; Julka Zyglowicz and Zofia Ochalek. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen. Services will be held Saturday; Jan. 10; beginning with a 9 a.m. blessing in the funeral home; followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
