Theodore (Ted) Spazok; 75; of
24 Johnston St.; Belle Vernon;
died Thursday; Nov. 20; 1997;
at 9:25 a.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital.
He was born Aug. 9;1922; in
Youngstown; Ohio; a son of the
late John and Bertha Kosolski
Spazok.
He had resided in the Belle
Vernon community since 1947;
having previously lived in
Youngstown; Ohio. He was a
member of St. Sebastian Roman
Catholic Church; Belle Vernon.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II. He retired in
1982 as a machine operator at
the Banning Four Mine of Republic Steel. He was past president of the United Mine Workers of America Local 9873. He
was a member of the Fairhope
Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife;
Theresa Maria Alessio Spazok;one daughter and son-in-law;
Diane and Francis Roberts of
Belle Vernon; one son and
daughter-in-law; Theodore and
Mary Lynne Spazok Jr. of Upper St. Clair; three grandchildren; Mark and Neil Roberts;
and Jessica Spazok; and one sister; Norma Brazzon of Belle
Vernon.
In addition to his parents; he
weas preceded in death by one
brother; Frank Spazok; and one
granddaughter; Raenelle
Angela Roberts.
Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home; 626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.John R.Cindric;V.F.;pastor of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
