Obituary

Theodore (Ted) Spazok, 75, of
24 Johnston St., Belle Vernon,
died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997,
at 9:25 a.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital.
He was born Aug. 9,1922, in
Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the
late John and Bertha Kosolski
Spazok.
He had resided in the Belle
Vernon community since 1947,
having previously lived in
Youngstown, Ohio. He was a
member of St. Sebastian Roman
Catholic Church, Belle Vernon.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II. He retired in
1982 as a machine operator at
the Banning Four Mine of Republic Steel. He was past president of the United Mine Workers of America Local 9873. He
was a member of the Fairhope
Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife,
Theresa Maria Alessio Spazok,one daughter and son-in-law,
Diane and Francis Roberts of
Belle Vernon, one son and
daughter-in-law, Theodore and
Mary Lynne Spazok Jr. of Upper St. Clair, three grandchildren, Mark and Neil Roberts,
and Jessica Spazok, and one sister, Norma Brazzon of Belle
Vernon.
In addition to his parents, he
weas preceded in death by one
brother, Frank Spazok, and one
granddaughter, Raenelle
Angela Roberts.
Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home, 626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.John R.Cindric,V.F.,pastor of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
