Thelma M. Catrino,79,of 125 Jean St.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Jan. 30,1999, in Haven Crest Nursing Center, Carroll Township. Mrs.Catrino was born Dec. 25,1919,in North Belle Vernon,the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Flading Dayner. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,she was a 1937 graduate of North Belle Vernon High School and a member of St. Sebastian's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert D. "Bucky" and Dolores Carrino of Baltimore, MD.,and John R. and Angela Catrino of Valparaiso, Ind.; a brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Marge Dayner of Warren, Ohio;four additional sisters-in-law,Hazel Dayner of North Belle Vernon,Ruth Catrino,Joann Rosenstranch and Emily Hennell;four grandchildren,Michael,David,Shelley and Joseph Catrino;and three great-grandchildren,Dominic,Vincent and Anthony Catrino. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,Albert M. Catrino on Aug. 1,1997 and a brother, Howard Dayner in 1998. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. The North Belle Vernon VFD wil meet to pay respects on Tuesday at 6:50 p.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
