Mrs. Thelma Hughes Kennedy;69;of Lyndhurst;N.J.;died Thursday;June 8;1972; after a lingering illness. She was formerly a resident of Charleroi and Twilight Borough. Mrs.Kennedy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Lyndhurst. She was a graduate nurse at Monongahela Memorial Hospital several years ago. She was the daughter of Wilford C.and Lillian Hughes. In addition to her husband;Thomas Charles Kennedy;she is survived by a son;Thomas Kennedy Jr.;and two grandchildren;all of Lyndhurst. Friends will be received between 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m.;with the Rev.Dr.S.Arthur Talman of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
