Mrs. Thelma (Gallagher) Forkey, nee Hopkins,57,of West Penn Manor in Forward Twp.,died in Homestesd Hospital Sunday, Sept. 13,1964 at 1:15 a.m. Mrs. Forkey had been employed as a tin sorter at the Irwin Works. She was born in Monessen,Nov. 20,1906,the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Nancy Hopkins. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gerrard (Mary Rita) Driscoll of Forward Twp. and Mrs. Dan (Ruth Ann) Eshelman of Williamsport Road in Elizabeth; two brothers, Kennneth Hopkins of Wyandott, Mich.and Seldon Hopkins of Monessen; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Leona) Jodon of Monessen and Mrs. Ethel Cosil who made her home with the deceased and one grandchild. Friends are being received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home, Monessen, during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Wednesday,Sept. 16,at 2 p.m.,in charge of the Rev.John Squires,pastor of the First Methodist Church in Monessen.
