Thelma E. Momeyer,86,of Elizabeth R.D.3,died Saturday, March 11,1989,in her home. Mrs. Momeyer was born April 24,1902,in Fairhope,a daughter of the late John and Mabel Bauer Askew. In addition to her parents,she was also preceded in death by her husband,Otis J. Momeyer,who died in 1978,and by a granddaughter,Marcy Rankin Zebrak and a great-granddaughter,Audra Zebrak,both of whom died as the result of injuries sustained in a vehicular accident in 1982. Mrs. Momeyer was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church,West Newton;the Ladies Auxiliary of the Victory Volunteer Fire Department;and the Order of Eastern Star Miriam Chapter No. 175,West Newton. Surviving are a son,Ralph Momeyer of Millersport,Ohio;two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Rankin of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Mrs. Ted (Mary Lou) Simon of West Newton;eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home,Inc.,Circle Drive, Sweeney Plan,Rostraver Township. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Christ Lutheran Church,West Newton,with the Rev. Allen Riethmiller,pastor,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
