Former Belle Vernon resident Teresa Paperi;94;of 14551 Lappin;Detroit;Mich.;died Saturday;June 21;1980;at 11 a.m.in St. Johns Hospital;Detroit. Born Nov.15;1885 in Tistoia;Italy;she was the daughter of the late Clemente and Carolina Biondi Giannoni. She lived the majority of her life in the Belle Vernon area;moving to Detroit four years ago. Mrs.Paperi was a member of St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband;Louis;in Dec.;1950. Survivors include a son;Maurice Paperi of St.Clair Shores;Mich.;two daughters;Mrs.Olga Ceccarelli;with whom she resided and Mrs.Curtis (Melba) Mitchell of Belle Vernon;two sisters;one in Italy and one in France;eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday;and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. A Blessing service will be held at the funeral home;Thursday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
