Sylvia Minnie,78,of Pricedale,died Saturday, Nov. 6,1999,,in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown. She was born Dec. 16,1920 in Pricedale, a daughter of the late George and Matilda Phares Minnie. She was the last remaining member of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, LeRoy,Robert and James Minnie;and three sisters, Viola,Vella and Margaret Minnie. She was a member of the Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church,Pricedale.Survivors include one niece,Rozella Minnie of New York. Friends will be received in the Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church,Pricedale,on Friday from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 10 a.m.,when services will be held with the Rev. Millie Thomas of Monessen officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
