Susan A. West; 94; of Belle Vernon; died in her home on Monday; April 13; 2009. A daughter of the late John and Mary Nagy Durda; she was born in Monongahela on Sept. 27; 1914; and resided in Belle Vernon for the past 54 years. Survivors include her husband of 59 years; Howard L. ‘Red’ West; two sons and daughters-in-law: Arthur and Terry West; of Winter Garden; Fla.; and Allan and Monica West; of Hollywood; Fla.; one grandchild; Arthur West Jr. and wife Theresa; of Belle Vernon; and two great-grandchildren: Colton and Savannah West. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one sister; Mary Dattola.
