Steven C.Mayerchak;65;of Charleroi;died Saturday;Jan.25;1975;at 4:20 a.m.in Eye and Ear Hospital;Pittsburgh;following an extended illness. Mr.Mayerchak;who was born in Charleroi on Oct.29;1909;was a retired employee of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of St.Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church of Charleroi. He was preceded in death by his wife;Mary Regula Mayerchak;on Jan.1;1970. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Dennis (Joan) Zucconi of Belle Vernon;two brothers;August Mayerchak of Charleroi and Charles Mayerchak of Monessen;five sisters;Mrs.Cecelia Cotton of Country Club Road;Carroll Twp.;Mrs.Ann Konhauser of Ford City;Mrs.Augustine Venneri of Charleroi;Mrs.Elizabeth Gluch of Belle Vernon and Margaret Mayerchak of Charleroi and three grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Third St.;and Fallowfield Ave;Charleroi;from 1 until 4 p.m.and 7 until 9 p.m.on Sunday and Monday;Jan.26 and 27;1975. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.on Tuesday;Jan.28;1975;followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St.Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church of Charleroi at 10 a.m.;with the Rev.Andrew Bialobok;pastor;officiating.
