Obituary

Steve W.Lovas,73,of 109 Reed Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,May 22,1975,at 2:40 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born July 30,1901,in Hungary,Mr.Lovas has resided in Belle Vernon for the past 20 years. He had formerly lived in Charleroi and Monessen. He was a retired employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are his widow,Viva,one son,Louis at home,two daughters,Mrs.Jules (Virginia) Massey of Monessen,Mrs.Robert (Eleanor) Koller of Belle Vernon,one stepdaughter,Mrs.Henry (Mae) Lange of Belle Vernon,six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.on Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.on Sunday at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Monday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Kenneth E.Neiderhiser,pastor of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director in charge of arrangements.
