Steve Ostoich; 87; formerly of Donora; died Thursday; Nov. 20; 2008; at 1:30 a.m. in the Washington County Health Center; Washington; Pa. Born Dec. 12; 1920; in Donora; he was the son of the late Guy and Milka (Herock) Ostoich. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Donora and a retired laborer from U.S. Steel; Irvin Works in West Mifflin. He is survived by his son-in-law; Michael R. Kovalak; of Irwin; one niece; Janice Hines and husband James R.; of Langhorne; Pa.; two nephews; Keith Martinez and wife Deborah Jane; of Export; and Kenneth Manko; of Moody; Maine; and one sister; Caroline Martinez; of Donora. He was preceded in death by his wife; Louise A. (Cecconi) Ostoich; his daughter; Elaine L. Kovalak; on Sept. 28; 1999; and one sister; Tina Manko. Visitation will be held Saturday; Nov. 22; from 11 a.m. to noon; followed by funeral services with the Rev. Igor Soroka at noon in the LEONARD J.
