Steve Misher Jr.,73,of Fairhope,died at his home Friday,June 22,2001.  ,He was born Oct.14,1927,in Fairhope,where he was a  ,lifelong resident,and the son of the late Steve and Katherine Kowasic Misher.  ,He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City.  ,He retired form Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,Allenport plant,in 1983 after 39 years of service.  ,He was a veteran of World War II,having served in the U.S.Navy,a member of the Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484,American Legion,Fayette City,a life member of the Fairhope Rod &, Gun Club,Naomi Athletic Club and Belle Vernon Moose.  ,His favorite past time was fishing at Lake Erie.  ,He is survived by his wife of 48 years,Iona Dorcon Misher,a son,Stephen Misher,two daughters,Teresa Downer and husband Harry,Mary (Margie) Yonash and husbant Robert,all of Fairhope,an uncle George Misher of Rices Landing,and many nieces and nephews.  ,Friends were received Sunday and will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.,334 Mains St.,Fayette City,and Tuesday until 10 a.m.when a Blessing service will take place with the Rev.Leonard McAlpin officiating.  ,Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
