Steve Ferenz, 88, Brown St., Pricedale, died in the Brownsville General Hospital Saturday, June 16,1962 at 6:20 a.m. He had been a resident of Pricedale for 54 years,and was a retired United Mine worker. He was a member of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church of Pricedale,the Hungarian Beneficial Literary Society,and the Citizens Association of Pricedale. He is survived by his widow, Susie Ferenz;two sons, Steve of Cleveland,Ohio and George J. of Tucson, Ariz.;six daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Elizabeth) Girhing of Pricedale,Mrs. Charles (Sue) Lubowycz of Monessen,Mrs. Julia Myers of Shermansdale, Pa.,Mrs. Jesse (Ethel) Donley of Pricedale,Mrs. John (Mary) Sakalik of Belle Vernon R.D.2 and Mrs. Andrew (Helen) Yanko of Pricedale;20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 1 p.m. on June 17,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Tuesday, June 19,at 1:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Victor Bodnar. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home Monday, June 18,at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
