Steve Ferenz,77,of 1012 Propspect Ave., (Carter Manor Apartments) Cleveland,Ohio,died Thursday afternoon Jan. 17,1980 at St. Vincent Hospital, Cleveland. Born in Bitener, Pa.,on Nov. 20,1902,he was the son of the late Steve and Susie Popp Ferenz. He lived in Cleveland for the last 20 years. Formerly of Pricedale, he was a retired employee of the Cleveland Cemetery Association and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Girhing of Pricedale,Mrs. Julia Myers of Carlisle,Mrs. Ethel Donley and Mrs. Helen Yanko, both of Pricedale and Mrs. Mary Sakolik of Belle Vernon R.D.2. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. The funeral will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Howard Rodebaugh,pastor of Pricedale Union Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
