Stephen Zuro of 14587 Terry Ave.;Detroit;Mich.;died suddenly Tuesday;Feb.2;1982 at 11 a.m.at his home. He was 73. Mr.Zuro was born Feb.22;1908 in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Nicholas Zuro who died in 1941;and Anna Zuro of Belle Vernon. He was a member of St.Peter and Paul Orthodox Church;Detroit. Mr.Zuro was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Corporation. In addition to his father;he was preceded in death by two brothers;John in 1975 and William in 1981. Survivors;in addition to his mother;include his widow;Erma Wattle Zuro;ond daughter;Marilyn Zuro at home;three brothers;Mike of Belle Vernon;Peter of Monessen;and Paul of McKeesport;and six sisters;Olga Zuro of Belle Vernon;Mrs.John (Eve) Stiranka of Houston;Texas;Mrs.Woodrow (Jean) Astle;Mrs.James (Mary) Jones and Mrs.Dalvert (Doris) Booth;all three of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.William(Ann) Mezoff of Belair;Md. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Parastas will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home;where a funeral service will be held on Saturday;Feb.6.;at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Samuel Smolele;pastor of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
