Obituary

Stephen M. Worry,48,of 434 Green St., Belle Vernon,died Saturday, Dec. 5,1998,in Mercy Hosptial,Pittsburgh,as a result of injuries he sustained in an industrial accident at Koppers Industries,Clairton. He was born Oct. 18,1950,in North Charleroi,a son of the late Steve N. Worry and of Sara Rogers Worry,who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. Mr. Worry was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon.  He was employed in the maintenance department as a millwright at Koppers Industries in Clairton.  He worked at the plant,a former division of USX Corp.,for 29 years.  He served with the National Guard during the Vietnam Era.  Survivors,in addition to his mother,include his wife,Karen Guthrie Worry;two sons,Jay A. Worry of Jefferson and Daniel Worry,at home; a daughter, Jenna W. Worry,at home;one brother, Edward P.Worry of Belle Vernon;a sister, Mrs. William (Donna) Conrad of Belle Vernon and his father-in-law, William A. Guthrie of Jefferson. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.with the Rev. Don Trexler,parochial vicar of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
