Stella M. Howard; 100; of Monessen; died Friday; March 24; 2006; in Victoria House of Monessen. She was born March 14; 1906; in Monessen; a daughter of the late James L. Fohner and Mary Jane Spowart Fohner. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Monessen. Surviving are a brother; Ed Fohner; of Monessen; a sister; Mildred Fechter; of Ohio; a daughter-in-law; Ann Howard; of Greensburg; four grandsons; Robert; Richard; John and Thomas Howard; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband; Wallace P. Howard; a son; Preston Howard; six sisters; and three brothers. Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule Funeral Home; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
