Mrs. Stella J. King,73,of 344 Chestnut St.,Monessen,died suddenly Sunday, May 22,1960,at 1:55 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs. King was born in the state of Indiana and had resided in Monessen for the past 55 years. She was a member of St. Leonard R.C.Church,Monessen. Her husband, Charles King Sr.preceded her in death in December,1956. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Stella) Andricovich,with whom she made her home and Mrs. Vincent (Jane) Scheroki,also of Monessen; two sons, Charles of Monessen and Richard of Donora;seven grandchildren;three great-grandchildren;and a foster sister, Mrs. Christopher Shorts of Seagertown,Pa. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home, McKee Ave.,Monessen from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Blessing services wll be held Wednesday,May 25,at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, with additional Rites to follow at 9:30 a.m. from St. Leonard R.C. Church,Monessen. The Rev. Martin J. O'Toole will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H. Denver Rhome,funeral director.
