Obituary

Stanley Stanko Sutovich,87,of 906 Hill St.,North Belle Vernon,died Saturday,March 27,1999,at 2:59 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born March 2,1912,in Monessen,a son of the late Marko and Mildred Guyich Sutovich. Mr.Sutovich was a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 50 years,where he was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church. He was a U.S.Army veteran,serving in World War II,and was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel wire mill in Monessen after 46 years of service as a truck driver. Survivors include his wife,Ann Dropchuck Sutovich,with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on Jan.5,1999,one son,John Sutovich,at home,two daughters and sons-in-law,Judy and Stanley Dutchko of Carroll Township and Barbara and David Evans of Rostraver Township,one brother,George Sutovich of Monessen,one sister,Anna Mae Kaboly of Monessen,five grandchildre,Katie Evans,Ryan Evans,Stanley Dutchko Jr.,John Dutchko and Sherri Dutchko,and four great-grandchildren. Besides his parents,he was preceded in death by two sons,Charles Sutovich and Stanley Sutovich,Jr.,a grandson,David Evans Jr.,three brothers,Charles Sutovich,Nick Sutovich,and John Sutovich,and two sisters,Helen Relich and Anna Povich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Relatives and friends will gather on Wednesday at 9 a.m.in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Mary Street,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be conducted by the Rev.John Kluchko,pastor. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
