Obituary

Stanley (Nappy) Semich Sr.,44,of 28 Marion Villa,Arnold City,died Monday, Feb. 8,1965 at 9:55 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.  Mr. Semich was born in Fairhope,Sept. 9,1920,and had lived his entire life in that area.  He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. A bricklayer by trade, he was a member of Local 20,B.M. and P.I.U.,of A.  Surviving are his widow, Helen Sudar Semich;a son, Stanley Jr. at home; a daughter, Mildred,at home;his parents,Mr. and Mrs. Nick Semich of Fairhope; four brothers, Joseph of Pricedale,George of Belle Vernon,Mitchell of Monessen and Ellis of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Sophia) Bauer of Monessen and Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Zebula of Fairhope. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Brief service will be held Thursday, Feb. 11,at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by Requiem Mass from Holy Trinity R.O. Church,Charleroi.  The Rev. Viadimir Soroka,pastor,will officiate.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Parastas service at the funeral home Feb. 10 at 8 p.m.  Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
