Stanley Burgess of Carson st.;Pricedale died unexpectedly on Friday Jan.22;1982;at 4:05 p.m.in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oakland. He was 60. Born Dec.26;1921 in East Charleroi;he was the son of the late Howard B.and Alice Stahl Burgess. Mr.Burgess retired as a butcher from the Weiss Packing Co.of Donora. He was a veteran of World War II;serving with the United States Army. Survivors include his devoted friend;Cassie Dulin of Pricedale;his daughter;Peggy Newbill of Rochester;N.Y.;two brothers;Howard of North Charleroi and James of Indianapolis;Ind.;sister;Margaret Riva of Charleroi and four grandchildren. Friends are being received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Russell Cousins officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
