Obituary

Spera Frederick,77,of 203 Baltimore St.,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday morning,Aug.21,1968,in Presbyterian-University Hospital,Pittsburgh,after a short illness. A retired coal miner,Mr.Frederick was a member of American Legion Post 659,Sons of Italy,Italian Beneficial Society,all of Belle Vernon,North Italian Political Association of Monessen and Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy. Mr.Frederick served in the armed forces in France during World War I. His wife,Flora,died in 1956. Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.Claytton (Myrna) Markham of Bridgeport,Conn.,and Lorraine Frederick of Pittsburgh,five sons,Roger,at home,Roland of Scotts Bluff,Neb.,Raymond,Jordan and William,all of Belle Vernon,fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Requiem High Mass will take place Saturday,Aug.24,at 9:15 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. The Rev.Martin J.O'Toole,pastor,will act as celebrant. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.
