Sophie Kerekes; 84; of Pricedale; passed away Sunday; April 18; 2010; in her home. A daughter of the late Dominick and Pauline Motycki; she was born in Charleroi on Jan. 9; 1928. Sophie was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and had resided most of her adult life in Pricedale. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; John and Debra Kerekes; and two grandchildren; John Patrick Kerekes and Alyssa Susan Kerekes; all of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years; John Kerekes Jr.; on March 29; 2010; and was the last of nine children in her immediate family.
