Sophie Ann Price, 93, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, in Thorpe's Personal Care, Charleroi. A daughter of the late Walter and Bertha Citko Brodzik, she was born in Miner Mills, Pa., on Aug. 29, 1921. A resident of Belle Vernon most of her adult life, she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Dallas W. Price; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and June Price of North Haven, Conn., and Ronald and Mariann Price of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Leona Nesterak and Bernadine Burgo, both of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Ron Price, Becca Bond, Ken Price and Michelle Price Judge; and five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Branden and Vera Price, Nathan Judge and Willow Bond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella Piekarski, Lil Perovich and Lottie Boyer; and two brothers, Joe and John Brodzik. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300,http://www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A blessing service will be in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
