Sophia P. Nusser,82,of Rostraver Township,died Tuesday,Aug. 15,2000,at her home. She was born in Fayette City on Feb. 5,1918,at daughter of the late John and Helen (Voloshyn) Paskan. Mrs. Nusser worked at Corning Glass in Charleroi. She was a member of the Metro Baptist Temple in Rostraver Township. Survivors include a son, Michael J. Nusser of Belle Vernon;and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Nusser in 1985. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday,Aug. 16,2000,at the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,Sweeney Plan,Rostraver Township,with the Rev. Stephen Dobosh officiating. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
