Obituary

Sophia "Jessie" Trembach Perun,89,formerly of Cook Road,Belle Vernon (Fairhope) and Campground 70,Fallowfield Township,died Monday,Sept. 27,1999,at 3:55 a.m.in Mt. Macrina Manor,Uniontown.She was born Jan.23,1910,in Pricedale,a daughter of the late Stephen and Eva Youshock Trembach.  Mrs Perun was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,where she was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church.  She was a former chairlady with the Washington Township Democrats.  Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law,Joseph and Diana Perun of Fallowfield Township;two daughters and sons-in-law,Evelyn and Myron Sepitko of Belle Vernon and Mary Catherine and Milsom Jenion of Nolanville,Texas;two sisters,Anna Dziyak of Belle Vernon and Julia Hollick of Belle Vernon;her grandchildren,Camie and husband Darin Hayduk,Wayne N. Sepitko,Melanie and Natalie Jenion;one great-grandson,Nicholas A. Hayduk;and her step-grandchildren,Denise Toms,Michelle Layton,Jamie and husband Brad Burgess;and step-great-grandchildren,Jonathon Layton,Tyler Burgess and Ryan Burgess. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,John Perun on Jan.3,1982;by five brothers,Peter Trembush,John Trembush,Michael Trembach,Jacob Trembach and Stephen Trembach;and a great-grandson,Dillon A. Hayduk. Friends will be received Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon.  Relatives and friends will gather at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Mary Street, Belle Vernon,on Thursday at 9 a.m. for funeral services,with the Rev. John Kluchko.pastor,officiating.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Parastas service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
