Mrs.Sophia Belle Brown;71;of Vesta;died suddenly in her sleep Saturday July 10;1954. Mrs.Brown was born in England;and was the widow of Thomas Brown;who died three years ago. She is survived by one son;Thomas Arnold of Vesta;two daughters;Mrs.Robert Deutsch;Vesta;and Mrs.Hannah Cartmel of Aliquippa;eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the home of her daughter;Mrs.Robert Deutsch;Vesta. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday;July 14;1954;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Norman Young;former pastor of the Speers Methodist Church;now of Kirby Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. H.Denver Rhome is the funeral director.
