Obituary

Silvio Angeline, 82, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 at his home. He was born March 27, 1922 in Monessen, a son of the late Vincenzo and Catarina Angeline. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen, MARS, and Local Union 1229, of which he served as a representative and vice president. Mr. Angeline was an employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in the Blast Furnace prior to retirement. Surviving are his wife, Cleo Matthews Angeline, two daughters, Mrs. John (Kathy) Badzik of Arizona and Mrs. Randy (Joni) Destefano of Perryopolis, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Romeo Angeline of Monessen and Julio Angeline of Belle Vernon. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were two sons, James and Bruce Angeline, and two sisters, Josephine Bruni and Theresa Gatto. Friends will be received Friday at the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
