Shirley L Alvarez 85 of Monessen on Sunday March 29 in Hallsworth House Care Center. Born in Monessen on February 9 1935 she was the daughter of the late Louis and Twila Dixon Centenial. Mrs. Alvarez was Presbyterian by faith. A graduate of Monessen High school class of 1953. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jose Alvarez and her son Jose. She is survived by a daughter and son in law Twila and John Rank of Eganville TX a grandson James and Jenna Rank of Austin TX, a grand daughter Haley and Dan Freeman of Quincy MA. Two great grandchildren Everly Rank and James Freeman.
