Shirley L. Tamargo; 79; formerly of Carroll Township; died Friday; July 19; 2002; in Hallsworth House; North Charleroi. A daughter of the late Harry and Edna Griffith Godfrey; she was born in Charleroi; Aug. 8; 1922. Methodist by faith; she had resided in Charleroi since 1996 and was formerly of Carroll Township. Survivors include a son; Joseph N. Tamargo of Charleroi; a daughter; Shell Cessna of Coraopolis; a brother and sister-in-law; James N. and Patricia Godfrey of Newark; Ohio; and a grandson; Michael Cessna of Coraopolis. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph M. Tamargo in 1997; and a sister; Nelda Heckman in 1999. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule member firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
