Sherry L. Hora, 71, of Rostraver Twp., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2025. A daughter of the late Rudolph and Genevieve Bianchi Stringhill, she was born in North Charleroi on July 11, 1954.
A realtor for over 30 years in the Mon Valley, retiring in 2020, Sherry was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Fayette City. She was a loving mother, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed family gatherings, travelling, and motorcycling with her late husband. She liked flowers and gardening and loved her cats Tigger and Jamesy.
She is survived by two sons, Alex J. Hora of Pittsburgh and Eric R. Hora of Brooklyn, NY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander J. Hora Jr. on August 14, 2002, a daughter, Jennifer L. Hora on September 1, 2012, and a brother, Richard Wagner.
A private visitation was held in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. Funeral services were private with Thomas Hamer officiating. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
