Obituary

Shelby Jean (Usher) Maglet, 74, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown. Born June 4, 1938, in Fayette City, she was the daughter of the late David and Ada Castel Usher. Mrs. Maglet was a homemaker and member of the Washington Township Fire Department former Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by six children and three daughters-in-law, Victoria Waters, of Boston, Pa., Donald and Alberta Maglet, of Pricedale, Mark and Connie Maglet, of Nanty Glo, Joanna Prentice, of Brownsville, Sandy Maglet, of Belle Vernon, Randy and Darlene Maglet, of Speers, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and George Self, of Greene County, and Evelyn and John Rehe, of Naomi, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Maglet, sister, April Dugeon, and best friend, Shirley Fugo. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Services will at 10 a.m. Friday at the Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations with the Rev. Pastor Joe Brown officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
