Mrs.Hewitt was born June 30;1942;in North Charleroi;a daughter of the late Benjamin Butler and of Christella Butler;who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. She was employed as a secretary at Bartolotto Products on Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh. Surviving;in addition to her mother;are two sons;Vaughn Hewitt;serving with the U.S.Navy in Jacksonville;Fla.;and Benjamin Hewitt;at home;a daughter;Mayumi;at home;three brothers;Benjamin of North Braddock;Glenn of New York City;N.Y.;and Michael of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Carla Snow of Pittsburgh;Jackie Butler of New York City;N.Y.;and Rozalind Butler of Belle Vernon;a sister-in-law;Bernice Butler of North Braddock and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday;Aug.31;1988;from 1 to 9 p.m.and Thursday;Sept.1;1988;from 10 a.m.to 9 p.m.in the West Funeral Home;2215 Wylie Ave.;Pittsburgh. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m.in the Greater Pittsburgh Christian Temple;250 S.Pacific Ave.;Pittsburgh;with Bishop Timothy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
