Sarah Louise Patterson; Miller; was born on August 8; 1927; in Deatesville; Alabama. She was the third of nine children born to Robert and Gertrude Miller.

Her home church was Lily Green Baptist Church in Deatesville.

Sarah called Louise by her family and friends migrated to New York in 1946; where she married William Patterson. Louise arrived in Pennsylvania to live with her aging parents in 1962. In 1972; when her mother Gertrude ascended to her heavenly home; she took up resident with her younger sister; Bessie Lorraine. The two women would remain inseparable until Louise’s final moments.

As a result of a house fire; she spent the last part of her years in a nursing home.

While Louise did not have any children; she enjoyed life and kept to herself. She helped to raise countless nieces; nephews as well as great nieces and nephews who remain forever grateful for her love; generosity; and kindness.

She is survived by her sisters; Bessie Lorraine Pollard of Munhall; PA and Earlene Miller of McKeesport; Pa; several nieces; nephews; great nieces and a host of cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Gertrude; two sisters and four brothers.
