Mrs.Sarah L.Blackburn;a former Belle Vernon resident;who had been living with a daughter;Mrs.Earl (Elsie) May of North Charleroi;died Sunday;June 13;19565;at 1 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital fter a lingering illness.  Mrs.Blackburn was a member of the First Methodist Church;Women’s Benefit Association;daughters of American;all of Belle Vernon and the Goodwill Club of Charleroi.   Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.May of North Charleroi and Mrs.Benjamin (Alva) Aspy of Okmulgee;Okla.;two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Her husband;Louis Blackburn; died in 1956.  Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Service there Wednesday;June 16;1965;at 2 p.m.in charge of the Rev.J.David Barkley;pastor of the First Methodist church of Belle Vernon.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner;funeral director.
