Sarah J. Johnson,88,of Belle Vernon R.D.5,died in LaFayette Manor Inc., Uniontown,Wednesday, Oct. 6,1993. She was born in Finleyville,April 16,1905,a daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah J. Biddle McManus. Mrs. Johnson was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Johnson in 1952;and a son, John W. Johnson Jr. in 1993. She is survived by two brothers, Patrick B. McManus of Allenport and James C. McManus of Belle Vernon; and one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Marguerite) Melvin of Monessen. Friends will be received in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township,Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Charles K. Sowden officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
