Sarah C. Smith,76,of 715 Washington Ave.,Charleroi,died Thursday,Feb.22,1973 at 5:30 p.m. in Washington (Pa.) Hospital. Born April 18,1896,in Stuarts Draft,Va.,she was a daughter of the late Fountain and Dinah Smith. She was a member of St. James AME Church,Charleroi. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Harold L. Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,where services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Edward Ford,pastor of St. James AME Church, Charleroi,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock,funeral director.
