Sarah B, Scholl,75,of Fourth Street, Fayette City,died Thursday,Feb. 17,1944,at 11:50 p.m. at the home of her daughter. She was born Oct. 6,1918,in Fayette City,a daughter of the late John L. and Margaret Stark Bake. Mrs. Scholl was retired from Miller's in Charleroi. She was a member of the Fayette City United Methodist Church,a life member of the Belle Vernon Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Fayette City Women's Club. She is survived by one son,Robert Scholl of Erie;one daughter,Mrs. Philip (Sally) Goodboy of Belle Vernon;and four grandchildren.Robert and Leslie Goodboy and Bethany and Brooke Scholl. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Robert B. Scholl in 1951 and a brother,Jack L. Bake. Friends will be received in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township,Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Harper officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
