Mrs. Sarah Corbett, 79,of Pricedale died Friday,Jan. 4,1963 at 1:20 a.m. in Washington Hospital. She was born in Mancester, England,Sept.18,1883,and came to Pricedale in 1927 from Russellton,Pa. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Her husband, William Corbett died in 1959,and a son, George died in 1960. Survivors are three sons,James of Monongahela,Joseph of Belle Vernon and Paul of Bentleyville; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Fowler of Leetsdale, Mrs. Josphine Moore of Homestead,Fla.,Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Radek and Mrs. John (Helen) Pierce of Pricedale; one sister,Mrs. Margaret Petroski in England;37 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon,after 1 p.m. on Saturday. Services will be held Monday,Jan.7,at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Eugene Spear of the Belle Vernon Free Methodist Church will be in charge,and interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
