Mrs.Sarah Johnson;69;451 Clarendon Ave.;Monessen;died Sunday;Feb.4;1973;at 7:45 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs.Johnson was born in Chester;W.Va.;April 1;1903;daughter of the late Alice and Josh Steele. She had lived in Monessen the past 41 years. Surviving are her husband;Henderson Johnson;three sons;Henry Henderson and Joseph Heath;a member of the Monessen Police Department;both of Monessen;and Richard Heath of Chicago;Ill.;one sister;Mrs.Grace Robinson of West Virginia;one brother;Leroy Steele of Ohio;three stepsons;Leon Johnson of Monessen;Alfred Jonson of Annapolis;Md. and Oliver Johnson of Braddock;one stepdaughter;Mrs.Florence Faulks of Charleston;W.Va.;20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home;Monessen after 7 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday;Feb.7 at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Edger Archie of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
