Obituary

Santo (Sam) DeFazio,of 488 Schoonmaker avenue,Monessen,died Saturday March 16,1957,at 9 p.m.at his home. A former resident of Belle Vernon,he was an employee of the Pittsburgh Steel Co.in Monessen. He is survived by his wife,a son,Thomas of Monessen,two daughters,Mrs.George (Beulah) Dubnansky,of Speers,and Mrs.George (Frances) Cook of Charleroi,four sisters,Mrs.Theresa Baker,of Jersey City,N.J.,Mrs.Peter (Rose) Camisano,of Wilkes-Barre and Mrs.Henry (Jenny) Evans,and Mrs.Guido (Irene) Simboli,both of Belle Vernon and two brothers,Anthony (Tony),of Belle Vernon and James,in the state of California. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,from 1 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday,March 20,at 9:30 a.m.from the St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with Rev.Henry Hanse officiating at Requiem Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
