Mrs. Sanna Pelkola Matson, 97,who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Oliver (Helen) Niemala of 1359 Paradise St.,Belle Vernon,died there Tuesday, Dec. 20,1966 at 8:45 a.m. after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Matson was born in Finland on Sept. 27,1869. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Niemela of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Samuel (Hilda) Salo of Courtland, Ohio,Mrs. Mary Tammines in Finland and Mrs. Elmer (Ila) Brown of Warren,Ohio,nine grandchildren,twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Service there Friday, Dec. 23,at 1 p.m. with the pastor of St. Luke's Episcopal Lutheran Church of Monessen, officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director.
