Samuel Webb;74;of Monessen;died at the home of his daughter;Mrs.K.G.Russ;Sunday;October 9;1955;at 6:45 p.m. Mr.Webb was born in Elizabeth on May 25;1881. Mr.Webb retired as an employee of the Fabric Department of the Pittsburgh Steel Company in 1950. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Monessen. He is survived by one son;Richard of Columbus;Ohio;three daughters;Mrs.K.G.Russ and Mrs.Donald Brown of Warren;Ohio;and Mrs.Eugene Baker of Mingo Junction;six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen;during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday;October 12;1955;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.A.J.Morley;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
